Fun with friends

The boys decorated gingerbread houses with our local home school group.  It was a fun group activity, since everyone brought different kinds of candy to decorate with.  Kyle and Luke easily constructed and decorated theirs with the other boys.

I was helping Max, while holding Nathan with the other arm, so his didn't quite turn out as designed.  But Max still liked it, and he ate a ton of candy.
My friend Veronica and her daughter Antha came to visit family in Houston, and managed to squeeze in a quick visit with me, Cindy, and all the children.  They all ran around on the playground and had fun while the adults got to catch up.  We tried to get a group picture of the kids, but it didn't really work out.  This is what I got, right before we discovered an ant bed right under the sign.  Oops.  Poor Evelyn.

Hill country

After Thanksgiving we went to visit my parents and my Memaw.
Memaw met her newest great grandson, and he took a nice little nap on her lap.
We also were able to see some of my other family, and the boys had fun playing hide and seek with Kyra and Raiden.
On the way back to my parents' house we stopped to see the lights in Marble Falls.  The lights were pretty and it was a beautiful night.
 Luke and Max met Santa.
They both told him they wanted a red rider BB gun.  We watch too many movies.  I think Santa gave them a serious lecture on gun safety!
There will not be a bb gun in their future, after all everyone knows, "You'll shoot your eye out!"

Trying to get a Christmas card picture...

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving with Jeff's side of the family this year.  The big boys had fun running around with their cousins, and Nate liked being held by everyone.

That is a lot of grandsons!

Fall

Nathan is a very good baby.  Here he is going for a walk, his favorite thing to do other than eating.
Below, Nate is helping me fold the laundry.
He likes his sleep.
Now that fall is here, the boys are playing in the leaf piles a lot.
