County Fair- October 13th

We drove down to Angleton for the County fair last weekend. Kyle and Luke put on their best cowboy duds and we saw a lot of animals. Luke says, "Cow!!!"

Kyle and Luke are practicing for the barrel races.


We always go on the ferris wheel, but this year we were a little scared.

I know Kyle looks scared, but he loved the giant slide.
Luke's favorite part was the petting zoo. He gave lots of hugs and made sure he pet every animal.

There was a wallaby inside that fence, and Luke was very interested in it.
He also loved the chickens.

By the end of the day we were all getting pretty tired.

Time to go back home...

Veronica's party- October 7th

Our friend Veronica celebrated her third birthday recently.
Veronica dressed up in her princess clothes and we made puppy ears and other crafts. Here is Kyle with his puppy face and ears.
Luke really enjoyed the cupcakes!
Kyle loved helping Veronica open her presents.

Kyle's School Carnival- October 6th

Kyle's school had it's annual carnival a few weeks ago. His favorite was the Silly String Wars.

His next stop was the rock wall.

He didn't quite make it to the top this year, but he'll try again next year.
He had a lot of fun bouncing around with his friends and eating a snow cone.

Of course we had to try the cake walk. We didn't win though. =(
The bouncy slide is always popular.

Picnic at the beach- September 30th

We went to the beach the other day for a picnic. The boys had fun running around and splashing in the water.

Jeff's Wig

For Jeff's 30th birthday, we had a 1977-themed party.

Jeff is all dressed up as a disco guy, and Kelly is a roller derby girl. Kyle really like Jeff's wig, so here he is trying it on the next day.

Luke likes salad!

Luke has discovered ranch dressing, so now he loves to eat salad!

Beach

On Saturday we went to a wedding shower for my friend Jennie. It was a lot of fun, but the boys got a little stir crazy. So afterwards we went down to Surfside to splash around.

Luke REALLY loves the waves, and he wants to dive right on in!



Luke wasn't very interested in playing on the beach, he just wanted to get back in the water!

Canyon Lake for Labor Day

We went to Canyon Lake for Labor Day weekend. Kyle had fun playing horseshoes with Grampa.


Luke had fun running all over the deck with Mom.

We went for a walk at the dam and Luke had fun walking by himself with Grams.

Kyle lost his first tooth! August 29th

Kyle lost his first tooth at school.
He's already got a permanent tooth growing in, so it was time for that tooth to go.
Luke wanted to show off his teeth too!
