We have had a fun, relaxing summer, but I haven't been taking a lot of pictures. We all really enjoyed having a pool in the backyard this summer. Most every afternoon we did some swimming to keep cool.
We took some breaks, but also did a lot of our school work this summer. We have made a good start in our academics for the year, so we will have plenty of time to take breaks when the new baby is here.
Right now I have a lot of unplanned free time thanks to the late arrival of baby boy #4, so here are some of our pictures I neglected to share.
Kyle went to church camp with the other sixth graders from our church, and he had a great time! They had all kinds of fun activities, and I was really proud of him for daring to go on the zip line. He is not fond of heights, but he decided to try it anyways. He said he was scared, but once he started flying he loved it.
He was pretty proud of himself too.
This is another zip line at the camp that landed in the lake. Not so high up, but lots of fun in the landing.
Luke was very eager to join cub scouts, just like Kyle did when he was 6. He has enjoyed all his den activities, and he REALLY loves his uniform. His den recently went to a local park to see a blacksmith demonstration and a hummingbird release.
Luke also got to take the training wheels off his bike this summer, and he loves to zoom around the cul de sac with his brothers.
