Birthday fun!

Luke celebrated his sixth birthday last week.  He got to choose what to do all day, and we went to chuck e cheese for dinner and games.  He had a great day.  Here are some of the highlights.

 Luke got a fossil excavation kit for his birthday, and the first thing he wanted to do was work on that.    Kyle was a big help, and they enjoyed digging out all the fossils and finding them in the book.

That afternoon Luke wanted to swim, so despite the not so hot temperature we all got in the pool.

 After all our fun that day we celebrated with Luke's birthday cake.  He really wanted a cake with SIX layers because he is six.  Somehow I was able to do this, but I am not doing it again.  So no one tell Max about this.  

 The cake was delicious though!  

 On Sunday a lot of our family and friends came over to celebrate with us and see the new place.  Luke had a really fun birthday weekend, with a lot of cake!
