Bluebonnets and Easter weekend

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Grams and Grampa's house.  We just finished moving a few weeks ago, so it was very nice to get away from all the boxes and to do lists for a few days.
We stopped on the way up to Canyon Lake to take some pictures of all the beautiful wildflowers this year.  It was a beautiful drive.  Except for the last hour, it was full of screeching and impatience to get out of the car.  That makes it a bit difficult to enjoy the gorgeous hill country landscape.
Jeff took a bunch of pictures of the boys together.  This is the only one where everyone is looking in the camera's general direction with their eyes open.   They are pretty cute boys, I must say.
After Jeff gave up on taking a group picture Max decided to smile for the camera.  He just wanted complete undivided attention, that's all!

Luke romped around trying not to step on any wildflowers.  It's a fun game.
 Soon they all joined in

Kyle is getting so tall.  I think he's going to be tall like my brother is.
Luke is a cutie pie too.
Easter morning the boys got up at the crack of dawn to retrieve the eggs from the yard.
Later that day we headed to Memaw's house for a delicious Easter lunch with more family.  It was nice to see  everyone, and we all had a quiet ride home with full tummies.
